Entry requirements and exemptions
In some programmes, there may be entry requirements for certain courses, for example that you have passed a previous course. Sometimes, there is the possibility to apply for an exemption from the entry requirement.
Entry requirements
In order for you to be eligible to start a course within a programme, you must meet certain requirements for prior knowledge. The purpose of this is to ensure that you have sufficient knowledge from previous courses to benefit from the content of the subsequent courses.
An entry requirement describes the knowledge that is necessary for you to be able to benefit from the education, for example, a completed or passed course. In some cases, it may be possible to apply for an exemption from the entry requirements.
