There are various grants and scholarship programs that you can apply for to study, do an internship or write a thesis abroad. On this page you will find information on the scholarships offered by the university.

The Adlerbert Scholarships

The Adlerbert Scholarships are primarily aimed at promoting travel for studies at the University of Gothenburg. The scholarship is broad - you can apply for exchange studies, thesis, degree work and VFU abroad, as well as for participating in courses and conferences abroad.

Minor Field Studies - MFS

MFS is a scholarship for field studies abroad that is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The scholarship offers students the opportunity to travel to a low- or middle-income country to collect data for a thesis project. Currently, the MFS scholarship programme is available only to students from Department of Law, Department of Historical Studies and Deporatment of Political Science.
